Who We Are
FBS Students is the Student Ministry of First Baptist Church Spartanburg. We exist to provide opportunities for teenagers to experience Jesus and engage in a relationship with Him. We celebrate changed lives! Our goal is to create an environment where students may know Christ and grow in their walk with Him. FBS Students welcomes all teenagers. This is a ministry for 6th through 12th grade students.
What We Desire
It is our desire that when a student graduates from High School, they do not graduate from their faith. The Middle School and High School years are vital in the spiritual growth of a person. We understand these years are important. After grade school ends, students step into a completely different environment. We hope their faith is strong and continues to grow.
What We Believe
We believe this is possible when students have a solid foundation, which is Jesus Christ. Through discipleship, community, service and worship, we seek to cultivate an audacious faith in teenagers. There are many weekly and yearly opportunities to join us. Each week we have a Wednesday worship experience, Sunday morning Life Groups and Sunday night Discipleship Groups.
