Where do I park?

Guest Parking is located in the large parking area directly across from the Barnet Park/Chapman Auditorium complex on St. John Street.

Please drive up to the parking area closest to the building and look for one of our Parking Greeters to help you. They will also direct you to the Welcome Desk so that you will be offered assistance in finding your place in Worship and a LIFE Group.

Where do I enter?

Visitors are always welcome at FBS! We have saved the back upper parking lot just for you and invite you to enter at the glass doors. Inside you will find smiling greeters who will help you find just the right place for you to start your FBS experience. Greeters are also available at all other doors. No matter where you come in, you’ll feel welcome. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or for directions.

We are big in size (our campus covers eighteen acres if stretched out) but also big in heart. We would love for you to become part of our family!

What do my children do?

If you have children (birth – sixth grade), we have fun, kid-friendly places just for them called The Woodlands (birth through Kindergarten) and The Kid Depot (1st through 6th grades).

They will experience ‘LIFE Groups 4 Kids’ offered during each worship hour, and KIDWORSHIP for 4 and 5 year olds. Plus, TOOL TIME for 1st-6th graders is a high-energy family friendly worship experience at 9AM the 1st Sunday of each month.

If you have a teenager in the 7th – 12th grades, they meet in the Hangar for their ‘age-graded’ LIFE Group and catch up with you for worship at the hour and location you and your family have chosen.

What goes on during the week?

Sundays are special here at First Baptist but the ministry of the church continues all week long!

Take a minute to click through our site and discover relationships and activities that will help you grow and discover your sweet spot of service. First Baptist is not just a place we “go” to worship and prepare and serve. It is a community of friends and families who are living life together and participating with God every single day.

From recreation activities to in-home meetings or community wide helping center projects, there is a great deal going on beyond Sunday at First Baptist Spartanburg!
