One of the great joys of ministry is that there is always good work to be done! Much of our ministry at FBS is held together by fantastic volunteers, but some tasks require the focus of an employed position. From seasonal internships to part time positions to full time ministry positions, our church occasionally has opportunities to expand its church staff to accomplish our ministry goals.

Student Ministry Associate
This job is a full-time student ministry position. We are looking for a recent graduate with a passion for student ministry. The only requirement is an undergraduate degree. This position would serve on the Student Minsitry Team at First Baptist Spartanburg. This position will report directly to the Student Pastor. The ideal person would be relational, teachable & passionate. There would be a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to weekly teaching, local school ministry, leadership training, event planning, social media and student discipleship.

Preschool Ministry Administrative Assistant
The Preschool Administrative Assistant is a key member of the ministry team. The contribution of organized, efficient and knowledgeable support helps the ministry run more efficiently. This individual needs to have a love for preschoolers and a drive to pour into their lives as well as their families!
Ministry Event Childcare Opportunities
(This is separate from the Weekday Preschool program)
Be a part of a team that cares for, loves and directs little ones during church programming, such as: Wednesday AM Ladies Bible studies | Wednesday PM and Sunday AM Nursery Care | Church-wide Special Events

Internships
Time: Our internships last 10 weeks. We would love for interns to be available and fully committed during those 10 weeks.
Dates: June 3 – August 16
Applications open October 23 and must be submitted by December 15
