All of our ministries work together towards our four-fold strategy: Worship, Prepare, Serve, Engage.
Students
This ministry is for teenagers in grades 6th – 12th. We provide an engaging youth ministry on Wednesdays and Sundays. Find more information below.
Kids
If you have children (birth – sixth grade), we have a fun, kid-friendly place just for them!
Missions
We will MPACT the world, starting in Spartanburg, by pointing First Baptist Spartanburg toward a Christ-centered mission. The MPACT strategy is leading First Baptist Spartanburg to be Mobilized in missions by Partnering with other organizations to Alleviate Suffering, Communicate the Gospel, and Train disciple makers here in Spartanburg, in South Carolina, in the USA and across the world.
Worship & Music
Here at FBS, we have a variety of opportunities to worship. Our two Sunday morning worship experiences offer contrasting worship styles and atmospheres.
At 9:00 AM in the Sanctuary, join our choir, orchestra, and praise team for a blend of traditional hymns and special arrangements of contemporary worship in the Celebration Service.
At 9:00 or 10:30 AM in the Hangar, sing with the Genesis Band as they lead a modern service with a live band.
Beyond Sunday, there are various opportunities during the week to gather and worship, as well as seasonal music events and tours you can be involved with.
Care & Recovery
We are here for you when life happens to care for you and help you bounce back better than ever before.
Recreation
Our Recreation Ministry exists to reach lost people of all ages for Christ and to disciple those that know Him. Recreation is a vital means through which the community can make its first contact with our church and, ultimately, with the message of Christ.
