Many were shocked when the world-renowned rapper and artist, Kanye West, recently released a gospel album and started proclaiming Jesus. The same guy who became infamous for interrupting Taylor Swift’s Grammy speech in 2009 is now in the headlines for releasing an album all about Jesus. We’re all about Jesus, too. We believe we all need Jesus whether we recognize it or not, and church should be a place for everyone to experience Him.
Our pastor, Dr. Don, challenges us and reminds us, “Anyone means ANYONE. Any questions?” Whatever your background or beliefs or past experiences or current circumstances, there is a place for you to come and see what God has in store for your life.
We believe in a complete and courageous life, and that means knowing Jesus Christ.
Maybe you’re currently homeless, have recently been released from prison, are dealing with a serious addiction, or have had something embarrassing happen in life. You should know up front, you’ll be among peers at FBS. Come meet us and hear our stories. Rich or poor, famous or infamous, you are welcome to FBS. We are a group of imperfect people who come into the house to worship a perfect God, because He loves us and is a good Father!
WHAT IF I’M NOT A CHRISTIAN?
If you are atheist, agnostic, or hold to a different faith, you are all the more welcome. We believe Jesus is the only way, and that all people should taste and see that He is good. Whether you agree or not, we still want to welcome you to the opportunity of learning about the Christian faith and life. Jesus told us to share it, and we believe the worst thing you could do in life is rule out God without thinking it through. Bring your questions and an open mind. The writer of most of the New Testament in the Bible was a man named Paul who was essentially a terrorist against early Christians before his life was changed by Jesus.

We meet at 9:30 and 11:00 AM, but it doesn’t end on Sunday. We’ll hope you’ll be a part of our family as we grow together and experience life with Jesus.
What’s a Sunday experience like at FBS?
Worship is at 9:30 a.m. for the Celebration Service and 11:00 a.m. for Genesis. LIFE Groups are at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for Adults, Youth, Children, and Preschoolers and at 8:30 a.m. for Adults only.
