NEW! Appointment System for the Food Market
In January 2025, The Bridge at Green Street is launching a new appointment system for our Food Market to better serve our neighbors.
We want to honor our neighbors by respecting their time. With this new system, appointments will be scheduled in 20-minute blocks to get you in and out as quickly as possible on your scheduled date and time.
Please take some time to review the policies and procedures below on how the appointments system will work.
Appointments Policies and Procedures
1. If you miss an appointment without notice, you will be considered a “No Show” and will not be able to reschedule another appointment until the following month. After you miss three appointments (3 No Shows), you will not be able to schedule another appointment for six months.
2. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled and you will be considered a “No Show”. You can reschedule for the following month.
3. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call our appointment line (864-699-4316) and leave a message, email bridge.appointments@fbs.org, or use the “Cancel/Change Appointment” links in the confirmation email you received. An appointment cannot be changed within 24 hours of appointment time.
4. Please arrive no later than five minutes before your appointment time to get checked in. You will not be seen earlier if you arrive earlier than five minutes before your appointment.
5. If you are brand new or have not visited the Food Market since we started the appointment system on January 1, 2025, you can either schedule your first appointment or wait for a possible shopping spot to open that day.
6. Appointments may not be swapped with another neighbor.
7. After you have shopped and met with a Neighbor Advocate, we will offer to pray with you and then schedule your next appointment.
8. Update regarding proxy pick ups. Please read! If you are shopping as a proxy for someone else, they must have a medical reason that does not allow them to physically come to the market to shop. Our desire is to get to know each neighbor. If we approve you for proxy pick ups, you must make two appointments — one for you and one for the person you are shopping for. The person you are shopping for MUST approve you as their proxy either in person or by phone before you are allowed to shop for them. Proxys should also be renewed annually.
