I am struggling with my father’s health recovering from heart procedure & the potential ending of a relationship. I’m so hurt & feel like I should be so joyful my father survived yet I’m so heartbroken over losing my love. I’m just so overwhelmed, lonely, & lost. We are needing a lot of prayer for our family for the last few months we have been suffering in so many different ways it's been almost unreal we do believe in God and we do have faith that he will see us through it but we do realize how important it is to have others who are believers to stand in prayer with us please pray that my husband will find a job and that God will put it in someones heart to bless us with a car as well so he can get back and forth to work when he gets a job.

Lord, call the people of First Baptist Spartanburg to be a people of prayer. Speak to us your mysteries and allow us to become watchmen on the wall to recognize what to pray for and how to pray. Make our Wednesday night prayer service into a time of extended prayer where Your people can feel Your presence and are allowed to bear each other’s burdens. Allow Your children to pray together on the 24/7 Prayer line instead of them just taking requests...let it be used for 2 or more to gather in Your name. Lord, send Your laborers into the fields and bring up new intercessors to stand in the gap for You because there are so many who need help and intercession. Revive Your ministers with a fresh vision and let them hear what to do today from You even if it takes them out of their comfort zone. Lord, Thank You for showing me that You rarely keep me in my comfort zone. Awaken this church. Open our eyes to see, Open our ears to hear. Show us Your Glory. Reveal Your strategies to reach the lost, the hurting, and even to reach our own members who haven’t felt Your Presence in a long time. And as Your fire begins to consume us in this church, protect us from the enemy’s attacks. Drive the religious spirit away from this church. Shut the mouth of the critical spirit. Draw us together in unity and in love as One Body with You, Christ, as the head.
