MPACT Workshops

Join us on Wednesdays January 8, 15, 22, 29 where we will hold two, 2 week workshops with our kids where they can learn a new skill that they can use to engage others and even use for their shoe boxes next year!  Some items will be sold at a silent auction to raise money for missions. Please try to have your child here each week so that they can complete their projects.

On Wednesday November 11, we will have a preview night of all our workshops.   During that evening the kids will mark workshops they are interested in and take that home.  Then parents will then follow the link below and be able to register their child for their top 4 choices of the workshops their kids chose.  We will place the kids into 2 of the 4 choices they have made.  Spots are reserved on a first come first served basis, so register early!

Night To Shine, February 7, 2020

Night to Shine is:

A worldwide movement.
Changing Valentine’s Day weekend from simply a celebration of love, to a celebration
of God’s love, for people with special needs.
An unforgettable prom night experience.
A celebration of the value of life.
A night when all guests are kings and queens of the prom.
Held simultaneously on one night around the world.
Changing the narrative on how people with special needs are viewed.

Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet complete with
a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal
treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, limousine rides,
corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room, a catered dinner, prom favors for each
honored guest, and, of course, dancing!

This past February, 375 churches representing 28 denominations and 150,000 volunteers in
50 states and 11 countries came together on one night to celebrate 75,000 honored guests
with special needs in what has become not just a nationwide event, but a worldwide
movement, celebrating people with special needs.

Each guest receives a crown or tiara because they are all kings and queens.
It’s not just about the banner we fly in church, it’s about the people in the church.
It is a night not only for guests to shine, but for churches to shine, for volunteers to shine,
and most importantly, for Christ to shine. The Tim Tebow Foundation is committed to celebrating people with special needs.

5th and 6th Grade Retreat – January 19-20, 2019

A fun night away at Great Wolf Lodge for our 5th and 6th graders.  The goal for this short retreat is to provide the kids time to get ot know and hang out with their peers, have a ton of fun together, and spend some focused time drawing near to God.  We know there is a great deal of change that takes place in these preteen years and our desire is to partner with parents in equipping our kids with a Biblical worldview.  Many times getting kids away and out of their normal routine provides a great opportunity to focus on their relationship with Christ.   An adult chaperone will be assigned to each room that will sleep 4-6 students.  There will be a brief meeting on December 15 after the 11:00 service in room 102 to answer any questions you may have as we look forward to this wonderful retreat.  Details for this trip are located on the link above, but here are the basics.

Each student who registers must complete both participant and medical form at top of this page

Want to win a night of fun for your family on TKD?  Well you found the right spot, register here today and we’ll pick a winner from all our entries the last day of each month.  Watch out for the TKD team as they surprise your family when you least expect it!  You only need to register once per year.
