We can all agree—it’s been a rough year since the last Big Game. As we seek ways to enrich our personal lives, our families, and our communities in 2021, we believe that God Can Do This.
In 2021, we want to be:

How can we be more generous with our time, talents, and treasure? God tells us in the Bible that we should open our hand to our brothers and sisters who are struggling (Deuteronomy 15:7-8), that God will sustain the one who considers the poor (Psalm 41:1-3), and that our generosity will be given back to us, pressed down, shaken together, and running over (Luke 6:37-38).
At FBS, we are making an effort to be more generous in 2021. Here are some ways you can join arms with us:

Quarantine life is here, and it’s not going anywhere fast. As believers, we are called not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together for worship, but to encourage one another (Hebrews 10:25). We’re thankful for the technology to connect “face to face”, even when we can’t physically be in the same room.

It’s hard to turn on the news or look on social media without seeing conflicting opinions about… well, anything! The great news is: God’s Word doesn’t change (Isaiah 4:8). The Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), it shows us how to be an example for others in our actions of love (1 Timothy 4:12), and it equips us for every good work (1 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe studying the Word individually and corporately is essential for the life of the believer. Here are ways to join in with us:

Loving our neighbors is essential to the believer’s life (Mark 12:31, James 2:8, Romans 15:2). Another aspect of quarantine life many of us are asking is—”how well do I actually know my neighbors?” With many having to distance more carefully due to the virus, a lot of our neighbors are stuck at home. How can we help one another? With resources like BlessEveryHome, you can learn the names of your neighbors and pray each day for them as you get reminders.
