What is this event?
This event is designed around a Cade Thompson concert. We’re excited to host this popular Contemporary Christian artist! Outside of the concert, we are hosting a Fall-themed block party. This portion is designed for you and your family.
Who is invited?
Everyone is invited! This is a family-friendly block community event. Please keep in mind, there will be no childcare. The concert will be similar to a Sunday morning modern worship experience with loud music, lights and haze.
Is this event free?
Yes, it is free to attend the block party and concert! Dinner is also free. Snack and dessert food trucks are available for purchase.

You will need a free pass to access the concert. Please click the register button above to do so.

What are the times?
The block party begins at 5pm and will end when the concert doors open.

If you’re planning to attend the concert only, please arrive at 6pm as the doors may open anytime between 6pm – 6:30pm.

The entire event ends by 8pm.

What can I expect at the block party?
Enjoy many pre-concert activities including: carnival game inflatables, multiple dessert food trucks, free dinner, a college football tailgate with games and a giant screen, face painting and other fall activities!
Is there an appropriate age for the Cade Thompson concert?
There is no age requirement for this event. Please keep in mind this is a concert and there is no childcare. This event may be most appropriate for ages 6 and up.
Where is this event located?
The entire event is located at First Baptist Church, Spartanburg.

The block party will take place in the Dean Street parking lot between First Baptist and Saint Paul Catholic Church.

The concert is located inside the Sanctuary of First Baptist. Please note: Dean Street will be closed for the event.

Where should I park?
There are multiple church and city parking lots that may be used for the event. This includes: FBS Welcome Center, Hangar and Special Needs parking lots, Bank of America parking lot, SCC parking lots, the Kennedy Street Parking Garage and the Dunbar Street Parking Garage.
