The Bridge Prayer Drive

Thank you for joining us for a concentrated time of prayer in our city. Watch the videos below as you drive to each point to stop and pray. Join us any day after 12pm.

Point One: 317 Green Street

Psalm 9:1-2

As you pull into the parking lot, think about the Bridge at Green Street, and praise the Lord for four blessed years of ministry in the Northside! We give out monthly food boxes, clothes, restore old bikes, help with financial assistance, and have afterschool programs. We also have seasonal events such The Christmas Shop or Overflow for Thanksgiving. Over 40 people have given their lives to Christ here at the Bridge!

Take a moment to say a prayer of praise and gratitude to the Lord for the great work He has done at the Bridge.

Point Two: Short Allen Street, the Old House

Joshua 6:20

This house is on a property we own; it was a pastor’s home when Green Street Baptist Church held services. It has fallen into disrepair and due to asbestos it has to be torn down.

Please Pray for God to make a way for us to tear this house down! Just like God tore down the walls of Jericho, pray He tears down this house too! Ask him to provide a person or company that can tear it down safely at a reasonable price!

Bonus Prayer Point

On your way to Point 3, stop and pray for Hope Ministries, led by our good friend Shawn Parker.

Hope Ministries helps men get back on their feet after they have fallen into difficult times.

Point Three: BridgeWay Village Future Site

Keep driving, turn left onto Allen Street, and drive until you reach the stop sign, then turn left again onto Brawley Street. Park on the side walk on the left side of the road.

Proverbs 2:6

BridgeWay Village will be a transitional housing program for single women. This program will provide opportunities to learn new skills, save money, strengthen their mental health, and most importantly grow in a relationship with Jesus. There will be 20 tiny houses on this lot within the next few years which they will live. It will be a community dedicated to providing Housing, Hope and Healing.

Please pray for wisdom for our team as we prepare our program and best practices in order to serve these women with respect and dignity.

Point Four: Homeless Jesus statue

Matthew 8:20

We see in the Bible, even Jesus did not have a home! There are hundreds of women in our city living without shelter. They are a very vulnerable population facing numerous risks while living on the streets. The heart of God is soft toward the poor and He provides for them.

Take a moment to pray for the homeless in our city. Pray that their physical and spiritual needs are met in Jesus Christ. Also pray for ministries that are helping them, such as Miracle Hill and The Spartanburg Opportunity Center.
