I have been struggling over a year with my thoughts. It's like every time I have a thought about God, a negative thought comes to me. It is hard for me to read the bible and pray without my concentration being taken away by bad thoughts. It is always about God, but it's not how I feel about God. I'm ashamed and can't control it. Just to let everyone know, the thoughts started after a certain thing happened in my life. I fight the best I can, but I feel my closeness with God isn't there anymore. I really want to get my life right with God. Please pray and if anyone has been through something similar I would like advice. I love the Lord and I hate to think badly. It's hard to explain, but I really need help.
