If you’ve stumbled across this page, you’ve probably seen the HOPE mural in Spartanburg, as a gift from the Christian Church in our town. We want you to be reminded that God is moving in Spartanburg, and there are ministries and resources to help anyone dealing with hunger, mental health, poverty, sickness, faith, and so much more. There is HOPE in Spartanburg.

Maybe you’re currently experiencing homelessness, have recently been released from prison, are dealing with a serious addiction, or have had something embarrassing happen in life. You should know up front, you’ll be among peers at FBS. Come meet us and hear our stories. Rich or poor, famous or infamous, you are welcome to FBS. We are a group of imperfect people who come into the house to worship a perfect God, because He loves us and is a good Father!
Experiencing Homelessness
Refuge is our ministry to friends who don’t have a place to stay. Anyone is welcome to come get a hot breakfast, coffee, and more on Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM. We have a time of Bible study and worship together. Come and be encouraged!
Food / Clothing / Bills
The Bridge At Green Street is our community outreach center on the North Side of Spartanburg. The Bridge offers help with food, clothing, and bills, as well as children’s programs for different age groups. If you would like to schedule an appointment with our Bridge team, please visit www.fbs.org/bridge or call 864.699.4331 for more information.
Addiction / Habits
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that helps with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Whether you’re dealing with anger, substance abuse, unhealthy coping mechanisms, or other issues, you’re welcome to join us at Celebrate Recovery on Friday nights at 6:00 PM at the Bridge At Green Street. We have a time of worship together, dinner, and then smaller groups.

Our pastor, Dr. Don, challenges us and reminds us, “Anyone means ANYONE. Any questions?” Whatever your background or beliefs or past experiences or current circumstances, there is a place for you to come and see what God has in store for your life.
We believe in a complete and courageous life, and that means knowing Jesus Christ.
WHAT IF I’M NOT A CHRISTIAN?
If you are atheist, agnostic, or hold to a different faith, you are all the more welcome. We believe Jesus is the only way, and that all people should taste and see that He is good. Whether you agree or not, we still want to welcome you to the opportunity of learning about the Christian faith and life. Jesus told us to share it, and we believe the worst thing you could do in life is rule out God without thinking it through. Bring your questions and an open mind. The writer of most of the New Testament in the Bible was a man named Paul who was essentially a terrorist against early Christians before his life was changed by Jesus.

JOIN US SUNDAY MORNING
We meet at 9:00 and 10:30 AM, but it doesn’t end on Sunday. We’ll hope you’ll be a part of our family as we grow together and experience life with Jesus.

Sundays at FBS
We meet at 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg SC, 29306
