Many of us have heard the story of Noah and the flood since we were children. Today Dr. Wilton continues his series Back to the Beginning with a fresh look at Noah and what we can learn from his experience so many years ago.
Through Noah’s life story we find that God sees the affairs of men, that God grieves, that He does condemn, and that ultimately God redeems. Covenants are made by God with man for the purpose of salvation. A covenant was made, and Noah was obedient. As a result, God kept His promise, saving Noah and his family from destruction.
Our Heavenly Father is indeed the God of the covenant. He gave His only Son for you and me. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9, New Living Translation)
