We share in the excitement and the joy of each new addition to our families. Whether you are an expecting parent, a new parent, an adopting parent, or are a parent that is new to our church home, we want to assist you in making your child's transition a pleasant one. A great way to begin this process is for you to allow us to partner with you in prayer. We want to become one of your biggest support systems and a place for you to come for guidance as you begin your journey in raising your child to come to love and know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Our ministry is designed to provide you with a wealth of information, prayer and support. New Parent Dinner
Join us in the Preschool Rotunda for this fun and informative event for expecting and new parents. It is a great time to meet others in the same life stage as yourselves and fellowship together. We will tour the facility; learn check-in procedures; help you with the details of our preschool security; and offer helpful tips and information to assist you during this exciting time. Parent / Child Dedication
A child is an awesome blessing from God and with that blessing comes a great responsibility to rear your child to love and know the Lord so that eventually they may also accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. It is important to realize that the dedication service is more about the parent than the child. In dedicating yourselves as parents, you are promising to seek the Lord's way in parenting, and to be obedient in that way. The dedication service gives parents an opportunity to make public their commitment to raise their child in the fear and admonition of the Lord. The parents are commiting to provide an environment in which their child can come to know God through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible gives parents sound guidelines. (You will benefit from reading Deuteronomy 6 which clearly states the parent's responsibility in teaching their children.)
