Spring Break 2012 - Providence, RI

This trip will be exploring areas in which First Baptist can minister. Providence is where the first Baptist church in America was founded, but it is now less than two percent evangelical. Contact: Angela Haley

April 9-14: Yesterday's Teens

The Senior Adult Choir will be ministering in various prison facilities through their choir presentation. Contact: Music Ministry Office

June 1-10: Mirror Image

The high school students will be ministering in various prison facilities through their chior presentation. Contact: Music Ministry Office

June 14-16: Key Change Choir Tour

The middle school choir will be ministering through song as well as serving in various homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and nursing homes. Contact: Music Ministry Office

June 15-17: Bluefield, WV

We will do church repair and renovation work at the church were we have been helping with VBS for the past several years. The trip might include some exterior wall repairs, dry wall work and painting. Contact: Angela Haley

June 23-30: Kentucky Missions

Teams will participate in basketball camps, construction, food distribution, and VBS leadership in local churches. You can be in involved by praying, giving, and going. Contact: Student Ministry Office

June 24 - July 1: Seattle, WA

We will be working with the Weldon family who recently attended our GMC. Contact: Renae Welchel

June 2012: Bluefield, WV

Our singles partner with a local church (Mt. Hermon Baptist) and pastor to do VBS for preschoolers, children, youth, and adults. We will travel on Saturday and begin our VBS that night; and conclude on Tuesday morning, traveling home that afternoon. We stay in college dorm rooms at a nearby Baptist college. Monday afternoon usually includes a fun trip to a local attraction. Contact: Angela Haley

July 30 - August 2: Pittsburgh, PA

This will be an Upward Sports trip led by the Recreation Minsitry.
