Approaching the digital deadline, we explored all avenues open to us in prayer and by discussion. In ^“Experiencing God,^“ the author stated that you need to honor God by giving your best. To give our best we need to broadcast in high definition. With this upgrade, we will continue bringing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ into countless homes - it’s the reason we do what we do.     - Sloan Bradford

Opportunities in ministering through media change frequently. In order to be on the cutting edge of changes taking place in the world of media today, our television system needed a major upgrade. Because of the new high definition standard set by WSPA, we had to make the switch to high definition. All of these upgrades needed more space and a new media suite is now located below the sanctuary. This upgrade will not only enhance the broadcast of our morning worship services but also the ministry of The Encouraging Word.

• We would have to fill and empty our sanctuary 91 times to house the number of people watching one Sunday morning broadcast on WSPA TV-7.

• Over 90% of those who join our church indicate they “visited” by TV before attending.

• As many people gave their hearts to Jesus while watching on television last year as walked the aisles of our church.

• Over 24,000 calls for prayer and salvation since the inception of The Encouraging Word in March of 2005.
