As a builder, I know that since the beginning of time, the importance of keystones providing a f irm foundation has been recognized.  A solid foundation provides the physical support that allows Gods church to stand f irm and reach others for Christ for many years to come.     - David Hill

Some of the most important things are those that can’t be seen. That is true of the mission of the Key Foundations committee. A house will not stand on a foundation that is not solid and in good condition. Our church is in need of upgrading to the necessities of daily operation such as roof repairs, boiler and air conditioning unit replacement, power plant relocation, and more. We want our foundation to be as secure as the rest of our visible ministry.

• Did you know that First Baptist Spartanburg has over 300,000 square feet under roof... that is more than 3 WalmartTM stores?

• Did you know the main boilers and chillers used to heat and cool the church today are the origional models installed in the 60’s after the church burned?

• Did you know there are over 150,000 square feet of roof surface area covering the activities of FBS?

• Did you know that in the past year FBS spent $274 a day - 7 days a week for heating and air conditioning repairs?
