Welcome

Welcome To First Baptist Spartanburg

What a privilege it is for me to serve you and see the Hand of God on His church. Building on a wonderful past, we are asking God to help us become a church where all of her members want to invite anyone and everyone to come to First Baptist to encounter the living Lord Jesus Christ. This is our mission! We are firmly convinced God has placed us here to fulfill a mission “to encourage complete and courageous living in Christ.” We believe that “in Christ, more is possible than you can ever imagine.”

Entering

Where Do I Come In?

Visitors are always welcome at FBS! We have saved the back upper parking lot just for you and invite you to enter at the glass doors. Inside you will find smiling greeters who will help you find just the right place for you to start your FBS experience. Greeters are also available at other doors. So no matter where you come in, you’ll feel welcome. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or for directions. FBS is big in size (our campus covers eighteen acres if stretched out) but also big in heart. We would love for you to become part of our family!

Children

What do my children do?

If you have children Birth - sixth grade, we have an incredible place called the The Kid Depot. There are people waiting to greet you and help your child, and you, feel safe and ready to experience lots of fun and the warmth of many caring adults.  They will experience ‘LIFE Groups 4 Kids’ offered during each worship hour. We also have an incredible Weekday Preschool Program. If you have a teenager in the 7th – 12th grade, they will meet in the Hangar for their ‘age-graded’ LIFE Group time and catch up with you for Worship at the hour and location you and your family have chosen.
