Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...”

How do we determine God’s will? Frequently, we say, “Thy will be done” but do we understand what that means? Do we mean what we say?

First, we must be willing to humble ourselves before God as sinners, realizing our unworthiness of His saving grace. We must admit we are weak...and He is strong. Only with a genuine, humble, servant spirit can we seek God in all of His glory.

Then, we must realize that the power of God transcends everything within our own power of reasoning. What is impossible to us is possible with Him. In Christ, more is possible, than you can ever imagine.

The task at hand is to turn our hearts to God in prayer, search God’s Word, and listen for His direction. We must earnestly pray to know God’s heart and His will for us as individuals and as a church.

Prayer is the ongoing conversation we have with our Heavenly Father....day to day, minute by minute. God longs to reveal His wonderful plans to us and wants us to consult Him.

What is the Lord asking you to do? Search His heart and find out. As you follow His direction, you will realize God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or even think. The Lord Jesus Christ teaches us in the Lord’s Prayer to seek the will of God. When we seek, we find. When we find, we do! Let’s get on our knees and talk to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.     - Jeremiah 29:12-13
