Every capital campaign is built around progress for our church and Gods ministry. It carries with it the responsibility for the prudent use of the funds we have. Being prudent means managing well the campaign funds, using the funds wisely, and being good stewards. Paying off our current debt will allow us to move into the future to share Gods love with our community and beyond.     - Bill Jeffords

Our last capital campaign, Building Together in Faith, has a balance remaining. Part of our Encouraging Today Impacting Tomorrow campaign is designated to pay off that debt so our church will be debt-free.

• FBS has a long standing tradition of using debt wisely but only for limited periods of time.

• Satisfying our debt pulls over $400,000 for interest payments from our budget every year that could be allocated for front line ministry.

• Being debt-free allows us to be unencumbered financially and free to respond to God’s next assignment for us.
