Ladies’ Bible Studies:

Monday Evening:  James:  Mercy Triumphs (8 Weeks) by Beth Moore.  James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic.  See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple, and in the process learn how you can put your own faith in action.  Two locations will be offering this study on Monday evenings:  Debbie Clark will host a study at her home beginning January 23rd from 6:30 - 8:00 pm,  and Sheila Ingle will lead a study at the home of Mary Jane Wells beginning January 23rd from 7:00-8:30 pm.  Cost:  $20

Tuesday Morning: Matthew Part 2 - Precept (17 weeks) by Kay Arthur: When Jesus came, did people receive Him as the promised Messiah? What did they say about His miracles and His teaching? What caused them to call for His crucifixion? He says He’s coming back. If He came today, would people recognize Him? As you study Matthew Part 2, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the resurrection and its power in your life. Then take up the challenge to share the gospel with others. Led by Shelly Mabry, this study will end in February, and a new study of II Thessalonians (7 weeks)  will begin on March 13th.  The class meets in Room 144 at FBS on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30am. For information or to register, call Kathy Hurry at 699.4207. Limited childcare is available so call early to register your child.  Cost:  $22 (Matthew Part 2) and $17 (II Thessalonians).

Tuesday Noon: Faithful, Abundant, True (7 Weeks) by Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shiver.  A study of three generations, three stories, and three lives going deeper still in God's Word.  While these three women each speak on the distinctive topic the Holy Spirit has led them to teach, the messages result in a marvelous blend.  Kay challenges us to faithfulness in difficult days; Pricilla points to the essential of trust in God's ability, and Beth touches on how to discern truth from error in these difficult days.   Led by Met Schrieffer this Lunch and Learn study begins on Tuesday, January 17th from 12-1:00 PM in Room 144 at FBS.  Cost:  $18
